One night at @fulhampierhotel and we're already planning our return.

This boutique riverside hotel sits right on the Thames in a stretch of London most visitors never think to book - and that's part of what makes it special. The building itself is striking from the water, all glass and balconies, with rowing crews gliding past below.

Inside, the suites are dressed in a rich emerald palette with solid oak floors and brass-slatted dividers that separate the room. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and frame uninterrupted views of the river. The King-size bed and premium bedding allow for an unmatched night’s sleep, while a comfortable sitting area and a well-stocked minibar mean you barely need to leave the room - although you absolutely should!

The grandeur continues into the ensuite with green marble walls, a marble basin, brushed brass fittings, a walk-in rainfall shower, a full-size bathtub for a long indulgent soak, and Diptyque toiletries.

But it's the balcony that really talks. Morning coffee as the light dances on the Thames. Evening drinks as the golden sunset dips over the trees. We sat out there for ages, watching the water and the sky passing by. 

Dinner @brasserieconstance was one of the best we've had in London this year. The sommelier kickstarted the evening with a bottle of his choice, smoked salmon and steak followed, and we finished with a theatrically served baked Alaska that we're still thinking about.

The next morning we headed to @lighthousesocialclub for breakfast - a vibrant, design-first members club spread across three colourful floors overlooking the water. Think eggs Benedict, fresh croissants, orange juice and coffee with the Thames stretching out in front of you - bliss!

What stayed with me most was the feeling of being genuinely cared for. A warm welcome, intimate dinners, tea prepared for the evening, and a team whose dedication could be felt in every detail. The kind of luxury that feels warm, personal, and unforgettable - moments I’ll replay in my mind for a long time.

In the heart of Recoleta, @MioBuenosAires felt like a home away from home.

From relaxing afternoons by the heated spa pool to slow mornings overlooking Buenos Aires, it was the perfect base for experiencing one of the city's most charming neighbourhoods.

Staying in the duplex apartment also meant waking up to beautiful views, having space to unwind in the living room after long days exploring the city, and enjoying all the comforts of a luxury hotel at the same time. 

I especially loved starting and ending the day on the balcony, soaking up the views over Recoleta - Mio Buenos Aires quickly became a stay I didn't want to leave.  ✨

Perched high above Cape Panwa on the southeastern tip of Phuket, the resort stretches across 40 acres of tropical hillside overlooking the Andaman Sea.

I’m in Sydneyyy ! I stayed a few days at @theporterhousemgallery, moving through the city and getting to know its many corners before heading back to Europe. 

Mornings started slowly, watching through the window as the city began to come to life. Downstairs, the cellar door transforms throughout the day, inviting you to move from morning rituals to evenings spent exploring curated wines. 

I spent the days walking through the city. Back in the room at night, the Sleep in Stillness tea ritual became a small moment to slow down before bed.

Those are memories I will travel back to. 

There are hotels that happen to be in good locations. And then there are hotels that are the location, so embedded in the architecture and identity of a place that the two become inseparable. The Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds is firmly the latter. Positioned on Angel Hill, directly opposite the Abbey Gate, it doesn’t merely overlook one of England’s most beautifully preserved medieval town centres. It belongs to it.
