Hotel ICON , Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong: Where Hong Kong’s Future of Hospitality Is Already Being Written

Hong Kong is a city that moves at full speed.

Neon lights flicker through midnight.
Ferries cut across Victoria Harbour.
Street markets hum beside luxury boutiques.
And somehow, everything feels like it’s happening all at once.

Then you arrive at Hotel ICON—and the pace changes.

Set in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui East, this isn’t just another luxury hotel competing for skyline views. It’s one of Hong Kong’s most fascinating hospitality concepts: a design-forward hotel that also doubles as a living classroom for the future of global hospitality.

And that story alone makes it unforgettable.

Hvammsvík Hot Springs in Hvammsvík, Iceland: Where Iceland Feels Untouched

At Hvammsvik Hot Springs Resort @hvammsvik, the stay itself is a peaceful escape — and just nearby, the hot springs offer another layer to the experience.

I spent the morning moving between the pools and loved every single one,  each with incredible views across the fjord, though I couldn’t quite brave the cold sea! Finishing the experience with a long, relaxed lunch at the bistro made the visit feel perfectly complete.

While the hot springs are a destination in their own right, being able to experience them alongside the stay made it all the more special — an extension of the same calm, considered atmosphere that carries through everything here.

Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai, China:Where Shanghai’s Skyline Feels Closest

There are luxury hotels in Shanghai that feel trendy.
Others feel ultra-exclusive.

And then there’s Pudong Shangri-La—a hotel that has spent decades becoming part of Shanghai’s skyline story itself.

Set directly on the banks of the Huangpu River in Lujiazui, this is one of those rare hotels where the destination begins the moment you pull back your curtains.

Because across the water?

The entire Bund is waiting.

And few hotels frame it better.

art'otel London Hoxton: Where Art Becomes the Experience

Skyline views, design-led interiors and a stay that feels effortlessly cool - @artotellondonhoxton is one of East London’s most exciting addresses right now.

From the moment we arrived (complete with a bottle of fizz), it felt like a hotel designed to be experienced. The suite was a standout - separate living space, record player, soft mood lighting and sweeping views across the City that completely transform at sunset.

The hotel leans fully into its art-led identity, with contemporary pieces woven throughout, giving it a gallery-like feel without losing warmth. Downstairs, The Brush is perfect for everything from coffee to cocktails (and a very good steak), while the rooftop restaurant, Solaya, brings a more elevated dining experience - quite literally!

The spa is another highlight, think a softly lit pool, sauna, steam room and treatments that make it easy to switch off. Add in a well-equipped gym and one of the best-connected locations in London, and it works just as well for business as it does for a weekend escape.
